Burnham Benefits Names Foderaro Managing Director

Burnham Benefits Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, California, named William Foderaro as managing director.

Foderaro has more than 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. He was most recently managing director at OneDigital and previously served as vice president, San Francisco benefits practice leader, at Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. and vice president, sales and service, at Benefitter.

In his new role, Foderaro is responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing and operational excellence and will lead the employee benefits large group business segment.

Mercury Insurance Appoints Zhang Chief Data Analytics Officer

Mercury Insurance, headquartered in Los Angeles, named Simon Zhang chief data and analytics officer.

Before joining Mercury, Zhang was chief data scientist at GrowingIO, a company he co-founded. Before that, he held a leadership role at LinkedIn, where he served as senior director of business analytics.

Zhang’s career journey began in the medical field, where he was a neurosurgeon performing more than 300 surgeries.
