Wateridge Insurance/Assured Partners of California promoted John Dorris to president of the San Diego, Calif., operations.
Dorris’ role will be to lead the agency to key financial goals, recruiting talent and leading corporate initiatives.
Dorris has became the chief operating officer on March 1, 2020, when Wateridge Insurance Services joined Assured Partners. Since that time, he’s worked with outgoing President Jeff Byroads, and Senior Executive John Clanton in leading the Wateridge transition to Assured Partners.
Wateridge Insurance provides business and personal insurance.
Alliant Insurance Services named Amy Barlow and Rob Doerfler senior vice presidents in Portland, Ore.
Barlow will focus on leading agribusiness and forestry growth and development initiatives.
Barlow has with 27 years of experience in the underwriting and brokerage fields. Barlow was most recently a senior vice president at Aon.
Doerfler will lead the forest products group.
Doerfler has more than 22 years of experience in the insurance industry. Doerfler was previously with Aon. He was with Marsh before that.
Alliant is a distributor of diversified insurance products and services.
