Calabasas, Calif.-based Topa Insurance Group has named William Eyre to the board of directors.
Eyre has more than 40 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, both in executive positions and sales. Eyre is currently managing director at Pinnacle Risk Advisors LLC. Eyre was a managing director of Guy Carpenter before that. Eyre was also vice chairman at JLT Re.
Topa Insurance Group is an insurance holding company, made up of core company Topa Insurance Co., as well as Dorchester Insurance Co., NevPac Reinsurance and Topa Insurance Services. Topa provides insurance products through the wholesale markets.
