Burbank, Calif.-based Monarch E&S Insurance Services hired Matt Romano as vice president to launch the firm’s flood practice.
Romano for the last seven years has worked both as a retailer and wholesaler specializing in private market flood insurance. He was previously a producer with RPS Risk Placement Services.
Monarch is a division of SPG Insurance Solutions, an MGA and wholesale broker.
