Calabasas, Calif.-based Topa Insurance Group announced that Cynthia Morrison, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will retire.
Morrison is retiring effective Jan. 31, 2019. Lawrence Genalo, assistant vice president of financial planning and analysis, has been named is replace her. Genalo will report to John Donahue, president and CEO.
Morrison has been CFO since joining the group in 2014. She will transition the role of CFO to Genalo over the next two months.


Genalo joined Topa Insurance as manager of financial planning and analysis in 2016 and was promoted to director in 2017 and then to assistant vice president.
Topa Insurance Co. is one of the wholly owned subsidiaries of Topa Insurance Group, a boutique insurance holding company that provides wholesale insurance solutions.
