Calabasas, Calif.-based Topa Insurance Group has named Denise Pavlov chief underwriting officer.
Pavlov will report to President and CEO John Donahue, and oversee Topa’s underwriting, products, program development, human resources and marketing.
She was previously a consultant for Topa in underwriting.
She has experience working with Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance, GMAC Insurance, the California State Automobile Association and Western United Insurance Co. in roles including chief underwriting officer, senior vice president of underwriting and vice president of operations.
Topa is an insurance holding company that provides wholesale insurance solutions.
