The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed two magnitude 3.1 earthquakes recently shook the Reno, Nev. area.
The Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno, says the epicenter was about 3.7 miles north-northeast of Galena High School.
The USGS says the quakes hit around noon and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Reno police and fire department officials say there were no reports of injuries or damage.
