Novato, Calif.-based Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. has named David Zona as chief underwriting officer and Kathleen Zortman as chief field executive.
As chief underwriting officer, Zona is responsible for setting the direction and priorities for commercial and personal insurance product lines and is accountable for driving growth.
Zona was previously responsible for the commercial insurance product team at Fireman’s Fund, and now oversees product development, pricing and reinsurance for both commercial and personal lines. Prior to joining Fireman’s Fund in 2010, Zona held leadership positions at Nationwide and ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½.
Zortman is responsible for leading the field underwriting, customer service and sales teams. Zortman most recently was president of Professional Risk Solutions, a wholesale broker headquartered in the Northeast. Prior to joining Fireman’s Fund, she held leadership positions with PLI Brokerage, Chubb and Deloitte Consulting.
Fireman’s Fund is known for working with high-net-worth, entertainment and green insurance. Fireman’s Fund is a member of the Allianz Group.
