San Diego-based Barney & Barney LLC, a large insurance brokerage, has added Dennis Borsenberger to the Commercial Division. Borsenberger will serve as a client executive in company’s San Diego office.
With a focus on complex casualty risks, Borsenberger brings extensive experience with public and private life science and bio-tech firms, defense contractors, products manufacturers, transportation and marine-related risks. He also works with numerous large not-for-profit entities in San Diego.
Borsenberger began his insurance career in 1991 with Timothy S. Mills Insurance Services. He remained with the same agency for 20 years through three subsequent acquisitions, the most recent by Willis in 2008. Prior to entering the insurance industry, he was the chief financial officer at Kettenburg Marine.
