California-based insurance brokerage Barney & Barney LLC has expanded its Compensation Consulting practice with the addition of compensation experts Matt Ward and Annette Winn. Ward and Winn were most recently with the compensation market intelligence firm Radford, an Aon Hewitt company.
Barney & Barney Principal Jeremy Anderson said both Ward and Winn “have extensive experience in working with boards and senior management in all industries, with a special emphasis in the technology and life sciences sectors. These are two core industry areas for Barney & Barney, as we represent a large constituency of these companies in California.”
Ward, an attorney and CPA, has been providing strategic compensation consulting and incentive plan design expertise for nearly 30 years.
Winn joins Barney & Barney with 20 years of experience consulting with clients on a range of compensation issues including total compensation strategy, senior management compensation, short- and long-term incentive plan design and salary management programs. She also has experience designing compensation programs for companies facing mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and initial public offerings.
