Wendy Humphrey, vice president of the and regional production specialist for Western Risk Specialists Inc., recently won the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) Region VIII CWC – Communication Speak-Off Competition during the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City.
CWC is a program that allows participants to enhance communication skills by preparing and delivering oral presentations.
Humphrey won the regional level competition by presenting a three-minute prepared speech and completing a one-minute impromptu speech. She will go on to compete on the national level with the winners representing the other eight regions of NAIW (International).
The International CWC Speak-Off will be held during the National Convention in May, in New Orleans.
