Woodland Hills, Calif.-based announced that Robert M. Bryar, who joined the firm mid-2007 as executive vice president, has accepted the position of president.
Bryar has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. He spent two years as Southern California managing director for Acordia/Wells Fargo and 10 years as president and CEO of Speare & Co., a large regional broker specializing in commercial and entertainment insurance. Prior to that, he was with Hoffman Brown Co. for 13 years, and with Max Behm & Associates for 10 years.
A regular speaker for The Los Angeles Unified School District High School Extension, Bryar is also a court-appointed expert witness on the subject of property and association coverage.
