Caroline Edkins has been hired by Cavignac & Associates, a San Diego-based risk management and commercial insurance brokerage firm, as an account administrator.

Edkins brings to Cavignac & Associates more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry. In her new position, she assists the account manager with the daily service activities of each client’s benefit offerings.

Before joining Cavignac & Associates, Edkins served for three years as an account administrator for a large regional insurance broker in San Diego, where she assisted a professional liability team with daily service activities. Prior career experience includes five years as a pension analyst with LDZ Group Inc. in San Diego; six and a half years concluding as an underwriter for Spencer Douglass Insurance in Carlsbad, Calif.; three and a half years as a marketing assistant for Calgaro Insurance in San Diego; and another three and a half years as an underwriter’s assistant at CIGNA in San Diego.
