Los Angeles-based Farmers Group Inc., announced the appointment of Scott Lindquist, currently controller of Genworth Financial, to the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Lindquist will take the position recently vacated by Pierre Wauthier, former executive vice president and CFO, who left last fall to join Zurich Insurance.
Lindquist began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, then joined the Phoenix Companies Inc., and most recently was with Genworth Financial.
