The Buckner Co. based in Salt Lake City has hired Donna Ferguson as the branch manager for its Las Vegas office.
Ferguson will manage employees in the Las Vegas office, as well as provides insurance services to clients. The Buckner Co. focuses on construction and commercial insurance, but also writes personal lines, employee benefits, as well as surety and bonding for the construction industry.
Ferguson hasmore than 30 years of insurance and business experience, having managed two agencies in the past. She was a partner in a firm in Newport Beach, Calif., and formerly owned and was president of Ferguson Financial Insurance Agency. She also was the marketing manager of Wood Gutmann & Bogart Insurance in Orange County, Calif., for 5 years., and worked for Armstrong Robitaille Insurance, which was purchased by Union Bank of California. Most recently, whe was a marketing manager at Acordia.
