Property & Casualty Insurance Co. of Hartford, part of the Hartford Insurance Group, has filed for a 9.6 percent rate increase for its private passenger auto policies in Nevada, according to the Department of Insurance.
The proposed rate change is subject to review by the DOI.
The last rate increase the company made was in July 2006 of 6.2 percent.
The DOI said it would mail a Notice of Hearing to interested persons if and when a Hearing is scheduled. For more information, visit the Nevada Insurance Division.
