Hull & Company in Newport Beach, Calif., has added an “A,” IX A.M. Best -rated carrier offering commercial auto in California.
Classes written on an admitted basis include public auto (church buses, courtesy buses, day care and social service buses), contractors and many other classes. Although most “for hire” truckers hauling for more than one concern are prohibited, the following “for hire” classes are eligible: Dump trucks, Ready-Mix trucks, and tow trucks on a non-admitted policy as well as Cargo coverage and Physical Damage.
Commission is 10 percent. Acord applications are required with supplemental applications on some specific classes.
