Colemont Insurance Brokers, Woodland Hills, Calif., announced it has named James Maddox assistant vice president and broker.
“James brings a great deal of knowledge of the technology insurance marketplace to our Woodland Hills team,” said Casey Hamlin, president of Colemont’s Southern California offices. “James’s expertise will enable us to broaden the product lines and services we offer our agents.”
Prior to joining Colemont, Maddox served as a placement broker with Marsh & McLennan, where he specialized in risk management for middle market technology and life science accounts. He began his insurance career with Travelers in the commercial underwriting trainee program. In 1986, he joined the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. There, he served in a variety of management and underwriting positions, including being charged with the development of new business for Chubb’s Technology Insurance Group.
