Aon Risk Services Inc. today announced that Michael Heffernan has been named managing director of the San Jose office.
Heffernan, a recognized leader within the construction insurance market, was formerly co-national director of Aon’s Wrap-Up Group. Heffernan has more than 13 years experience within the construction industry and is well known for his ability to design and place sophisticated wrap-up insurance programs for project owners and general contractors. In addition, Heffernan has significant expertise in crafting and managing complex insurance programs for contractors throughout the United States.
“Naming Mike as the head of the San Jose office is recognition of Mike’s leadership abilities,” said Peter Arkley, managing principal of Aon Construction Services Group. “San Jose and the surrounding areas are experiencing tremendous growth in construction. Mike’s presence here will strengthen our ability to develop and service our clients in the area.”
