The Bernard Warschaw Insurance Sales Agency, based in Napa, California, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Doctors Company, has changed its name to PULIC Insurance Services Inc.
“Only our name has changed. This was done in order to better reflect the current ownership of the agency as well as to capitalize on the name recognition of the carrier we place most of our business with, which is Professional Underwriters Liability Insurance Company (PULIC),” said Stephen Freedman, vice president of the agency. “Physicians can still look to us as their best choice to provide them with the sense of stability that comes only with tailored liability coverage from a highly rated company.”
Under its new name, the company will continue to offer medical malpractice protection for physicians, surgeons, dentists, podiatrists, and other health care providers whose coverage needs fall beyond the typical restrictions and provisions of the traditional liability insurance markets.
