Ventura, Calif.-based Certus Claims Administration, LLC announced the appointment of Linda S. Bowen as the managing director of Certus Claims. Bowen comes to Certus Claims from Inswork Solutions where she served as managing consultant. Prior to launching Inswork, she spent 20 years in the industry where she developed technical and strategic litigation expertise. Bowen oversaw branch operations for the Western Zone Director’s & Officer’s Specialty Claim unit of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies and for CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company.

Her management experience includes responsibility for case liability and damage evaluations, trial and settlement strategies, risk reduction strategies, post-trial analyses, marketing, training and staff development. Bowen has authored several articles in professional trade publications, and served as a speaker and facilitator at various trade organization events.
