Portland-based Heffernan Insurance Brokers announced the appointment of Jacob Korngold as assistant vice president. In this role, Korngold is charged with developing new business opportunities in the Portland area, focusing on high technology as well as general commercial business.
Korngold joins Heffernan Insurance Brokers after a successful career in technical and account management roles in New York and Oregon, bringing over 17 years of industry experience to the team. He has held positions at General Electric and Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in New York, as well as Electro-Scientific Industries and Rational Software in Beaverton, Oregon.
