Oregon-based SRC Software announced that National Farmers Union Insurance of Aurora, Colo., has selected SRC’s Advisor Seriesâ„¢ to streamline and improve the budgeting and financial reporting process for both National Farmers Union Property and Casualty Company and National Farmers Union Standard Insurance Company.
“We have been seeing increasing interest in our Advisor Series solution among insurance companies,” said Tom Malone, President and CEO, SRC Software. “SRC’s software is ideally suited for use within the insurance segment for several reasons, including its sophisticated modeling capabilities, ability to elegantly handle allocations, and the ease of completing complex reporting requirements. Additionally, SRC has extensive expertise in the financial services marketplace, which is built into the system and our services.”
National Farmers Union Insurance provides a wide range of insurance products—including auto, homeowner, farm, umbrella, commercial and more—to individuals, families and businesses mostly in rural areas throughout much of the United States.
The two insurance companies will implement the Advisor Series’ Budget Advisorâ„¢, Payroll Plannerâ„¢, Information Advisorâ„¢ and Web Checkoutâ„¢ components for 40 users via a SQL Server platform.
SRC will be able to implement the system in just a matter of weeks, for an October rollout. The Advisor Series solution will replace a home-built Microsoft Excel-based system.
