The Allstate Insurance Company has been advised by the Los Angeles United States Attorney’s office that the investigation initiated into Allstate’s handling of claims arising from the 1994 Northridge earthquake in California has ended. Following an extensive review of the company’s conduct, the office has informed Allstate that it is terminating its investigation, closing its file, and choosing to take no action.
According to Allstate Chairman, President and CEO Edward M. Liddy, the company remains committed to providing top-notch customer service for its policyholders.
