Florida Peninsula Insurance Co., one of Florida’s larger residential insurers, has named attorney Nancy Staff to be director of corporate compliance.
The position is a new one for Florida Peninsula, where Staff will be responsible for developing and managing the firm’s comprehensive compliance program and procedures, the company said in a news release.
Previously, Staff was director of ethics and compliance for Citizens Property Insurance Corp., since 2016. Before that, she was ethics officer for the Florida Department of Revenue.
Staff has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1989 and has had no disciplinary actions. She earned her bachelor’s degree and her law degree from the University of Florida.
