XPT Specialty, a wholesale brokerage with offices in 12 US states, has named Mike Jones senior vice president, based at XPT’s newly established Orlando office.

Jones will oversee hybrid managing general agency/brokerage placements for contractors, hospitality, product liablity and liquor, among others, the company said in a news release.

Jones began his career at Crump Insurance and is well-versed in Florida property insurance.

The Orlando office will eventually include all of XPT’s lines of business, the firm noted.
