Georgia authorities are on the lookout for a man who they say submitted false insurance claims for $42,000 in personal property that was never stolen.
Arrest warrants have been issued for Tyrone Bernard Briscoe, 35, of Atlanta, for one count of insurance fraud and 16 counts of forgery. He allegedly provided fake receipts, fake credit card statements and even a fake Atlanta Police report on his claim, Georgia Insurance Commissioner John King said in a statement.
“The suspect submitted a burglary claim with his insurance carrier, Lemonade Insurance Co., for $42,524,” King said.
