Willis North America has named Walter Gardner as senior vice president and practice leader, Human Capital, for Willis of Florida Inc.
Willis of Florida provides employee benefit and risk management services for 5,000 national and local clients from its offices in Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota, Winter Haven, Naples, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Vero Beach, Gainesville and Jacksonville.
Gardner will be responsible for business development and expanding Willis’ footprint across the state of Florida.
He will report to Hiram Marrero, CEO and regional partner, Willis of Florida.
Gardner has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Willis, he served as senior vice president, Well Fargo.
