Patriot National Insurance Group announced that Thomas McCarthy has joined its team as regional vice president of the Gulf Coast region. The region includes the states of Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. McCarthy will oversee all marketing and underwriting responsibilities for the Gulf Coast region, and will be based at Patriot’s Lake Mary (Orlando), Florida regional office.
Before joining Patriot National, McCarthy was vice president at Zenith Insurance. McCarthy has also held positions at ManagedComp, the PMA Insurance Group, Orion Capital and the Marriott Corp.
Patriot National Insurance Group is an insurance holding company focused on workers’ compensation insurance through its three operating subsidiaries: Guarantee Insurance Co., Patriot Recovery Inc. and Patriot Underwriters Inc.
