West Point, Ga.-based independent insurance brokerage J. Smith Lanier & Co. has hired Michael Andrews as director of Information Technology.
Andrews has operated as an independent information technology consultant since 2007. He also worked as the program manager for the state of North Carolina Child Support Collections.
