Florida Gov. Charlie Crist approved the nomination of F. David McKinney, chairman and CEO of J. Rolfe Davis Insurance, to The Florida Council of 100.
McKinney joined J. Rolfe Davis Insurance in 1974. He received his B.S. degree in political science from the University of Florida. A graduate of the Institute of Insurance Marketing at Louisiana State University, McKinney has served in leadership positions with many community organizations. In addition, he’s served as Board Member and former Trustee of Lake Highland Preparatory School, former Board Member of the Central Florida Kidney Foundation and former Board Member of the University of Central Florida Foundation. Mr. McKinney is also an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.
Fred Leonhardt, a partner with the Gray Robinson law firm in Orlando and Dick Nunis, retired chairman of Walt Disney World nominated McKinney.
