For violating military sales regulations, Georgia Insurance Commissioner John W. Oxendine revoked the licenses of three agents

The regulations were recently enacted to protect soldiers from unscrupulous solicitation, Oxendine said.

“My office is working with Georgia’s military bases to weed out the unfortunate few who would take advantage of our men and women in uniform,” the Commissioner said.

Agents Carl Dickerson, Dexter L. Steverson, and John T. McGhee all had their licenses to sell insurance revoked in separate orders. All of the agents had been selling at Fort Benning, and have been barred from that base by military authorities.
