Internationally recognized boxing manager Henry Foster was arrested for insurance fraud in Miami after accepting $93,000 for disability payments when he was not working.
John Dygon, a spokesman for Florida’s Department of Financial Services said Foster was managing five boxers and had a steady income, while claiming he was too physically tired and weak to work with the fighters.
“On 15 different occasions Foster submitted fraudulent insurance documents saying he could not work between March 2001 and March 2005,” Dragon said. DFS agents said that Foster was traveling on a national tour with his boxers when he claimed he was disabled.
