Physicians, surgeons and dentists in Alabama and Mississippi will now have non-standard medical malpractice coverage available from NAS Insurance Services of Encino, Calif. In addition, NAS is considering malpractice to neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons who perform spinal surgery in Florida and Texas.
Among special features of the policies are one-year and five-year ERP options, incident reporting and defense in addition to the limits for additional premium. Limits are available up to $1 million for each claim with a $3 million aggregate on a primary basis only. The coverage includes various deductibles.
