Georgia-based Raike Financial Group, an independent broker-dealer, has appointed Valerie Perkowski as executive vice president of RFG’s insurance division.
Perkowski joined RFG in June of 2003 to further develop the company’s insurance business. She has been appointed to the newly created position and will take charge of all insurance activities at the RFG, with the intent to increase revenues generated through insurance sales.
Since Perkowski joined the company, RFG has reportedly experienced a consistent growth in average monthly revenues from insurance products. The company has also become licensed for insurance in numerous additional states.
In her new position, Perkowski is charged with registering RFG for insurance sales in all states in which the company is active; training and licensing all RFG independent brokers for insurance; creating relationships with a broader range of insurance carriers in order to expand RFG’s offerings; as well as marketing the insurance division.
