SIAA Inc., a national network of independent insurance agencies, announced that The Insurance Mart Inc. of Jackson, Miss. has established Mississippi Insurance Alliance Inc. (MIA) as a SIAA Strategic Master Agency. Robbie Bratcher Cross, the owner and president of Insurance Mart, will manage the Master Agency network. Bratcher founded The Insurance Mart Inc. in 1964.
“This alliance will enable our agency, as well as those who join with us, to better serve our customers with additional markets, and allow us to remain as independent agencies, only with more clout,” Bratcher said.
The chairman of SIAA, James A. Masiello commented, “SIAA welcomes Mississippi Insurance Alliance to SIAA’s growing membership. As a SIAA Strategic Master Agency, Mississippi Insurance Alliance will provide the many SIAA advantages to those smaller agencies in their region that seek to grow while retaining their independence, and to direct writers and life and financial service agents who wish to become independent agents. Network members will benefit from access to additional markets and commission/profit sharing overrides and growth bonuses. MIA’s network members will not just survive in an unstable market, but they will thrive in it.”
