Fort Worth, Texas-based Higginbotham has acquired Colt Risk Management Services (CRMS).
CRMS is an independent commercial insurance broker specializing in aviation risk.
The CRMS team has moved to Higginbotham’s Friendswood office, giving that location a combined staff of nearly 40 insurance and employee benefit professionals serving businesses and individuals. The firm will operate under the Higginbotham name with Higginbotham’s Ryan Moss as managing partner and CRMS President John Springrose as vice president.
Colt Risk Management Services is an independent commercial property/casualty insurance broker serving the aviation industry. It opened in 2010 with representatives in Houston and Atlanta. CRMS serves more than 400 aviation companies globally and was the exclusive insurance services provider for Colt International from 2010 to 2018.
Higginbotham operates 29 offices in Texas and Oklahoma City.
