Dean & Draper Insurance Agency LP has acquired Houston-based Texas Printers Insurance Agency (TPIA).
TPIA specializes in risk management and property/casualty insurance. The agency also offers employee benefits for members of the printing industries of the Gulf Coast Association, as well as insurance solutions for numerous industries including manufacturing and construction, and has been serving customers for more than 30 years.
The TPIA team led by founder Doug Phenix will join the purchasing agency, Soules Insurance Agency LP, in Conroe, Texas. Soules has been a subsidiary of Houston-based Dean & Draper since 2013.
Soules specializes in a broad range of property, casualty, bond, life, health and security products. Soules purchased TPIA on April 1. Terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.
The move offers Dean & Draper furthered flexibility in serving printers and other middle market industries in the region.
