Texas-based full service independent managing general agency and surplus lines broker, MD Jensvold & Co. Inc., has opened a location Shreveport, Louisiana, and added three new members to its team.
John Hellyer joins Jensvold as lead underwriter in the Louisiana office. He brings 25 years of experience from all levels of the industry including MGAs, and national and regional carriers. He was previously responsible for training and managing multiple offices throughout Louisiana while at Deep South. Helleyer will be responsible for oversight and growth originating from Jensvold’s Shreveport location.
Tamica King joins the Jensvold binding team as a production underwriter in Louisiana. King has more 10 years of extensive commercial property/casualty underwriting experience.
Tonia Tilmon also joins the Jensvold binding team as a production underwriter in Louisiana. Tilmon has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years with regional commercial MGAs.
MD Jensvold is headquartered in Houston, and has locations in Lubbock and San Antonio, Texas.
