Insurance Network of Texas, an independent insurance agency based in Giddings, Texas, is operating under a new name: The Nitsche Group.
The company also unveiled a redesigned web site: www.TheNitscheGroup.com. The new site prominently features the company’s focus on their relationship with clients as a business partner, using new technologies and years of expertise to create business solutions.
The company was founded in 1949 as the Hannes Insurance Agency in Giddings. In 1971, RJ Nitsche joined the company, which was renamed Hannes & Nitsche Insurance Agency. Five years after RJ Nitsche joined the team, another key player, David Ferguson, arrived and the agency became Nitsche & Ferguson. After two decades of development and success, the company changed its name to better suit its statewide scope of business; and in 1994, the company became Insurance Network of Texas.
Today, The Nitsche Group has more than 125 employees at nine locations across Texas to serve its ever-growing client base.
