Underwriting manager Victor O. Schinnerer & Company Inc. announced that Jake Terrell joined the firm as vice president and sales manager for the Southeast and South Central United States. Terrell is based in Dallas and will report to Brian Hanuschak, head of distribution for Victor O. Schinnerer & Company.
Terrell will oversee the development and execution of sales initiatives for his territory which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
Prior to joining Schinnerer, Terrell served as director of specialty underwriting for Hanover Insurance Group where he oversaw the daily underwriting, marketing, and sales operations for professional liability products in the Southeast. Prior to this, he worked as a broker for various wholesale brokerage operations. He has also held underwriting positions for insurance industry leaders such as Hartford and Fireman’s Fund.
