New Hampshire-based Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA) announced it signed 33 new members in May. Of these, 24 are liberated “captive agents” new to the independent agency system – bringing new premium dollars and new people into the system.
Four new agency members are located in Texas and Oklahoma:
- All Brehm Insurance Agency LLC of Abilene, Texas
- Citywide Insurance Group Inc. of Oklahoma City, Okla.
- Mike Mayfield Insurance of Welch, Okla.
- United Insurers of Oklahoma City, Okla.
SIAA members wrote more than $310 million in new business premiums in 2010 and are projected to exceed that volume for 2011. The new business premium for 2010 was up more than 27 percent from 2009’s figure of $235 million.
