Matt Womack, partner and principal with the in Austin, was named the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas’ André Juneau Young Agent of the Year. The presentation was made by Patrick Kinney, Field Management president for , sponsor of the award at the IIAT’s 111th Annual Conference & Trade Show.
“This year’s winner demonstrates the highest levels of accomplishment possible with dedication, commitment and an unwavering work ethic,” said Kinney.
The award is named in honor of the late André Juneau, a past president of IIAT and past Young Agent of the Year.
“Womack has set a torrid pace,” Kinney said. “In fact barely five years ago he was not even in the insurance business. Today he is a partner and principal.”
In addition to holding the CIC, he is near completion of the Certified Risk Manager designation. He is also a graduate of the IIAT Producer Development Program.
Womack has also set a more aggressive pace to increase fund raising for IIAT’s IMPACT campaigns in his region. He has served the insurance industry as a member and educator of S.C.O.R.E. – the Service Core of Retired Executives – by educating new business owners on commercial insurance needs.
