The Arkansas division of , an insurance brokerage firm headquartered in Springfield, Mo., announced that it executed an agreement to purchase certain assets of Russell Grace Inc., Fort Worth, Texas.
Russell Grace Inc., founded in 1950, is involved in the marketing and servicing of property and casualty insurance products as a wholesale broker utilizing a number of admitted and non-admitted markets with particular emphasis on commercial auto, property, and general liability risks.
“This acquisition will significantly expand our Texas production, and we are glad to welcome the experienced staff and producers of Russell Grace, Inc,” James Adams, president of M. J. Kelly Company, said. M. J. Kelly Company of Texas will operate out of a combined Fort Worth branch office.
As one of 10 branch offices in nine states, M. J. Kelly Company of Texas utilizes national purchasing power to offer independent insurance agents diverse products at competitive rates.
Robert W. Grace, president of Russell Grace Inc. said, “The technology, markets, and management resources provided by this new association will serve our Texas producers very well.”
M. J. Kelly Company is a wholesale specialty lines insurance brokerage. Founded in 1976, the company has access to hundreds of specialty lines markets and programs and is experienced in handling hard to place professional, property, general liability, and transportation risks.
