(RPNI) announced the election of Jeff Brady of Houston and Scott Drew of Minnetonka, Minn., as directors of RPNI, a network of 28 independent insurance brokers located throughout the United States and Canada.
Brady is president and chief executive officer of Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates Inc., which he joined in 1985 to take the lead in product development for the firm. He served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston in 1997-1998 and in 1999 received the Young Agent of the Year Award from the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. He holds the professional designations of CIC (certified insurance counselor) and CRM (certified risk manager).
Drew is vice president of Associated Financial Group, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated Banc-Corp. It includes CFG Insurances Services as one of its divisions. Drew specializes in commercial insurance programs, and has extensive experience working with contractors. Prior to joining CFG in 1992, he was president of The Drew Agency Inc., in St. Paul, Minn.
Brady and Drew replace Alex Green of AH&T Insurance, and Bill Curtis of SullivanCurtisMonroe, whose terms expired.
RPNI’s 28 partners last year had combined revenues of $497 million, giving the organization significant market strength. Each of the 28 partners is an equal owner in the association, which gives its members the geographic diversity and shared knowledge base to serve clients with national, international or highly specialized exposures to risk. Total written premiums in 2003 were $4.8 billion.
