Southwestern Insurance Information Service (SIIS) announced that Jim Snikeris, vice president and executive director of Farmers Insurance Group in Austin was elected chairman of the board of SIIS.
Snikeris joined Farmers in 1978 and has held a variety of management positions in Illinois and California, including assistant vice president in Farmers corporate office. He has extensive experience in both personal and commercial lines.
SIIS is a 50-year old insurance trade association representing insurers writing personal and commercial lines in Texas and Oklahoma.
