
Allianz Commercial, with U.S. headquarters in New York City, named Mary Ann Stewart as regional head of liability, North America, effective September 22.
Based in Chicago, Stewart will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of Allianz Commercial’s North American Liability portfolio, which includes excess casualty, construction liability and environmental coverages across the U.S. and Canada. Stewart will also oversee the direction, leadership and talent development of all Liability underwriters across the U.S. and Canada.
Stewart joins from Markel where she held several roles over her seven years, most recently acting as senior director, global casualty underwriting, within Markel’s casualty business line.
Rokstone Strengthens North American Inland Marine With 2 Hires
International specialty MGA Rokstone appointed Adrianna Allman and Charles Turgeon as senior underwriters in its North American inland marine division.
Joining from ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ and based in Boston and San Francisco respectively, they bring deep expertise in inland marine trucking and a strong track record of performance, extending Rokstone’s geographic reach across North America.
Rokstone said its inland marine underwriting team has more than doubled in the past two years.
