Canopius Group, headquartered in Chicago, appointed Tom Losquadro as vice president of underwriting for national hull and liability U.S.

Losquadro brings extensive experience in marine insurance, having held senior roles at both ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ and Marsh McLennan. He joined Canopius on May 19 from ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½, where he led the hull & liabilities underwriting team, focusing on large corporate and middle-market marine risks across the Northeast U.S.

He will report to Neetu Varghese, head of marine U.S.

“With strong broker relationships and deep strategic underwriting expertise, Tom will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence in the U.S.” said Varghese.
