Steven Anderson joins Safety National’s Cyber Insurance Team

Steven Anderson has joined the Safety National cyber insurance team as Director of Cyber Underwriting. Anderson will be based out of the company’s Dallas office.

With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Anderson has served in various underwriting and product leader positions at global cyber insurance carriers and, most recently, an insure-tech startup.

In his new role, Anderson will bolster the cyber underwriting team and support expanding relationships with key broker partners and insureds.

Coalition Appoints First CFO

Coalition has appointed its first chief financial officer, new general counsel, and a new board member.

Jim Young, CFO, previously served as CFO at Broadridge and Fintech leader. Young also served in senior finance roles at Visa Inc. and as CFO of Indigo Ag.

John Littzi, General Counsel, serves as principal counsel to Coalition’s Founder and CEO Joshua Motta, as well as its senior management team and board of directors. Littzi previously was sole deputy general counsel of W. R. Berkley Corporation and served at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP in New York.

New board member Julie Richardson brings over 25 years of experience on Wall Street in investment banking and private equity roles. She currently serves on the boards of UBS, Datadog, and YEXT.

The changes come on the heels of a $250 million investment into the San Francisco company in July, boosting the valuation of the company to $5 billion.
