James Patterson and Ryan Mimmo have been appointed vice presidents of Cyber & Technology for Brit Global Specialty USA. They are based in San Francisco and New York, respectively, and are responsible for underwriting and supporting the growth of BGSU’s Cyber & Technology offering.
They report to Jeff Norton, senior vice president, Cyber and Technology.
Patterson joins BGSU from ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ where he worked as a cyber specialist. In this position, he educated clients and insurance brokers on cyber exposures and loss prevention methods. Prior to this, he was a senior underwriter at ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ specializing in cyber and technology coverage.
Mimmo comes to BGSU from cyber specialist NAS Insurance (acquired by Tokio Marine in April), which last July named him assistant vice president, Technology E&O and Cyber Liability. He previously held claims and underwriting roles across cyber, technology and professional liability at Zurich North America (2015-2018), Marsh & McLennan Companies (2014-2015) and ACE (2011-2014).
BGSU’s Cyber & Technology offering was launched in 2017.
